Customer Experience

Ability to edit upcoming subscription instance

Recently, we revamped the Manage Plan page user experience so that customers more clearly understood when their orders are arriving and how to edit their orders.

With that release, our goal was to allow customers to edit their next subscription instance once their current order is processed. This implementation took a bit of time, but will now be available for testing in the release environment!

These enhancements will make it so that customers are always able to update their subscriptions, instead of having an extended period of down time while their current fulfillment date is locked.

NOTE: The customer will still experience a slight down period during the processing time, however, it will be reduced from a few days to just a few hours.

For example, if your subscription lock date is set to 4 days prior at 11:00 PM, the customer's order would display as locked from 11:00 PM until the order is processed overnight (usually around 12:30 AM).

Hide Unavailable Fulfillment Options

In order to make it clear what fulfillment options are available to the customer when they are searching their zip code, we have hidden any unavailable ordering options.

For example, if a specific store does not allow store delivery, that option will no longer display within the dropdown options.

Hide Packaging Fee at Checkout

In order to reduce the number of line items within the order breakdown on the checkout page, we have hidden the packaging fee if it is set to $0 within the settings.

Improve “Update Fulfillment” button & Modal

We have updated the UI for the “update fulfillment” action.

Now, the customer will be able to select the pencil icon next to their chosen fulfillment selection in order to update their zip or fulfillment type. In addition, we’ve updated the title text within the modal to “Update Zip Code.”

Update Subscription Cart to Display Discounts + Fees

In order to make it clear to returning subscribers what the cost of their weekly subscription will be, we have updated the cart to include discounts + fees that are applicable to their order.

  • Subtotal
  • Discounts (if applied)
  • Tax
  • Fees (packaging, delivery, or convenience fees)
  • Tip (if applicable)
  • Loyalty redemption (if applied)
  • Total

Admin Portal

Customer Source added to Zapier Webhook

We have added the Source field to the CustomerCreated webhook so that you are able to determine where the customer signed up for an account.

You’ll also be able to view this on the customer profile within the details section.

Customer Sources include:

  • Unknown
  • Cart Checkout
  • POS
  • Admin
  • Legacy Import

Add Flag on Promotion to Show on POS

To allow you to control which promotions are displayed at the POS, we have added a flag within the promotion to “Display on POS”

This setting with default to on, which will allow the promotion to be visible within the promotion section of the checkout page on POS.

If turned off, the promotion will not display within the promotion section at the checkout page, but the in-store staff will still be able to search for the promotion if needed.

You are also able to view which promotions are selected to display on POS right from the promotions list page.

Implement Unserviced Zip Code Dashboard

To better keep track of zip codes that are submitted by customers that are out of service area, we have implemented the Unserviced Zip Codes dashboard within admin v2 > analytics

Within this dashboard, you’ll be able to view all zip codes submitted by customers. For each zip code, you’ll be able to see the number of submissions.

In addition, you are able to click into each zip code & export the list of customers so that you are able to notify them once you have added that zip code to a market.

Once a zip code is added to a market, a “serviced” indication will be added to the zip code so that you know it is now serviced.

Implement Markets Hub

The Market Tab within the side panel of the Admin portal has been updated to Fulfillment in order to make it clear that is where you will set up your fulfillment options.

Within this hub, you will be able to set up shipping, doordash settings, and packaging settings. In the future, you’ll also be able to set up shipping with a Prado Partner (such as Nutrifresh) as well as Purchase Packaging!

Below the fulfillment settings, you’re able to view all of your established local & shipping markets. Within the list of local markets, you’ll be able to view at a glance which markets offer store pickup, store delivery, and scheduled delivery.

From here, you are able to click into a specific market to manage the settings.

Allow Text Formatting within Product Description

To allow more personalization to the product details page, you are now able to apply text formatting to the product description.

You will be able to include:

  • Line breaks
  • Bold, italicized, and underlined fonts
  • Bullet points
  • hyperlinks
