Prado Release Notes 8/7/2024
We're excited to share the latest updates to Prado! The following bug fixes and enhancements were released to all merchants earlier today.
🚀(Preview) Improved Shipping Functionality and Enabled Multiple Shipping Service Selection
We are excited to announce enhancements to our shipping functionality, providing merchants with greater flexibility and customers with more options. Previously, merchants could only select a single shipping service regardless of the destination. Now, merchants can offer multiple shipping services, allowing customers to choose the option that best meets their needs at checkout. This is the first iteration of an initiative to expand our shipping functionalities.
Key Features
🔑Multiple Shipping Services: Customers can now choose from a range of shipping services, giving them the flexibility to select the most suitable option.
🔑Dynamic Selection: Shipping options are dynamically filtered based on the "max time in transit" setting. This ensures customers only see shipping services that can deliver their packages within the specified timeframe.
🔑Preferred Pricing: When connecting a carrier, merchants can receive any preferred pricing associated with their account.
Example:
If a merchant sets a maximum transit time of 2 days and ships on a Friday, customers will only see shipping options that can deliver within 2 days, ensuring timely delivery of their orders.
How to Enable:
1. Go to Admin > Shipping .
2. Select the Shipping Market .
3. Click on Edit Shipping Settings .
4. Select the desired services.
5. Ensure you have configured a max time for transit in your shipping market
🚀Configurable Reporting Window
Merchants can now set their own start and end days for the week and choose to view data based on the order paid date or the fulfillment date. For example, if a merchant prefers the week to start on Saturday and end on Sunday, they can adjust these settings accordingly, and the key analytics will update. This flexibility ensures that the data aligns with their business operations and reporting preferences. 🚀Visibility of Subscription and Promo Discounts During Checkout
We are addressing an issue where customers could not see the subscription discount or promo discounts during every step of the checkout process. Previously, when items were added to the cart and subscription discounts or promo codes were applied, the subtotals did not reflect these discounts until the customer created an account or logged in. This applied to all promos, not just those requiring a login. The discount now shows in the cart subtotal and price breakdown before signing in or signing up. If a promo code requires login, the system will display a message to log in to see the promo, ensuring a smoother checkout experience and reducing the likelihood of customers abandoning their transaction.

🤖Add a way to retrieve How To Prepare information VIA the v2/Products get & gather endpoints
Added a flag in the get and gather endpoints to return the related preparation profile, the new flag can be found in the OpenAPI Spec at api.getprado.com.

Resolved Issues 🎉
🐛Resolved an issue which prevented negotiated shipping rates from populating
