Creating and Assigning Customer Groups for Special Discounts

Merchants can now assign customers to specific groups to apply targeted discounts. This feature allows you to create customer groups and set a percentage discount for each group. Once created, customers can be assigned to a group, enhancing your marketing strategy and customer segmentation.

Creating a Customer Group

  1. Go to Admin > Customers
  2. Select the Customer Groups Tab
  3. Click on Add Customer Group
  4. Add Customer Group Name
    • Enter a name for the group (e.g., "VIP Customers" or "Wholesale").
  5. Add Discount % value
    • Specify the discount percentage that will apply to members of this group.
  6. Click on Save Customer Group

Assigning a Customer to a Group

  1. Go to Admin > Customers
  2. Search for the Customer
    • Use the search bar to find the customer’s profile by entering their name, email address, or phone number.
  3. In Customer Details page click on Edit Details.
  4. Choose from the Customer Group dropdown menu
  5. Click on Save Details

 

Once customers are assigned to a group, the assigned discount will automatically apply to their orders. The group discount is applicable to all orders from all channels.
