Prado Release Notes 4/19/2023

Configure Subscription Terminology

With this update, we will be allowing merchants to configure or personalize the “Subscription” terminology for branding purposes.

It can be accomplished by going to Admin v1 → Marketing → Website → Page Template

NoteThe default should state “Subscription” unless configured by the merchant.

Old Version

Price Suppression

Merchants can now suppress the prices for Fixed Quantity tiers in our system so that it mimics that functionality and the customer isn’t blatantly seeing that they’re paying the same price.

This can be enabled in this in Admin v1 → Operations → Markets → Tiered Pricing.

If this is selected, product and modifier prices should not be displayed in the following places.

  • On the product card
  • On the product details page
  • In the Edit/Modify Modal
  • On the cart
  • In checkout
  • On Order Confirmation
  • On the Receipt Page
  • In Email & SMS templates
  • On the Manage Plan page

Allow Closed Promotions to be Reopened

Merchants are now able to reuse an old promo code that has expired.

You can simply edit the expiration date into a future date to reopen the promotion and move it into the Active Promotions tab.

Able to select earlier pickup time than currently available at checkout

When selecting a pickup time for the same day, customers are seeing the earliest pickup time in the morning even though it’s already past noon.

This has been resolved in this release. If the market has opted to allow the customer to select a specific pickup time, the available pickup times should start with the next available pickup time based on the market settings & store hours.

Can't access the availability page for some products in AdminV2

We recently discovered an issue whenever a merchant updates the product availability - an error shows up “Unable to load availability”.

In this release, we are including a fix for this issue so that merchants should be able to view and update their product availability.

Currently, the Menu Card Check Availability Text drives the button text before zip & fulfillment are captured. It also drives the text after the zip & fulfillment are captured, as the drop downs display the configurable options for Add to One-Time Order button text and Add to Subscription button text

After a zip code is entered, the purchase button should show the text entered into “MENU CARD ADD TO CART BUTTON TEXT” ( which is currently “Add to Cart” for an item with 2 purchase options)

In the case that a product has only 1 purchase option, the available purchase option should be the visible button.

Updating the button text correctly displays in SHOP ( You will need a market that has both one-time orders & subscription orders enabled)

  1. Sign into your website as an Admin
  2. Click on the Account icon > Account > Admin (Classic) Admin V1
  3. Click on Marketing > Menu > Update Template
  4. Update the “MENU CARD CHECK AVAILABILITY BUTTON TEXT” option to be “Enter a Zip code”
  5. Update the “MENU CARD ADD TO CART BUTTON TEXT” option to be “Purchase options”
  6. Save > Logout
  7. As a customer, go to your website’s menu.
  8. Note that the default button text for products is now “Enter a Zip code”
  9. Click that button > enter a valid zip code for your configured market
  10. Once complete, note the button text now shows “Purchase options”
