Product Block - V2
In order to allow merchants to feature products on pages outside of their menu, we added Product Block on Admin V2. This can be found in Online Store > Pages.
- The product cards for the products selected to be featured should mirror the state of the product card on the menu.
- If the organization does not service the zip code, customers should see the “Sorry we are not available in this area yet!” modal.
- If the product is not within the zip/fulfillment menu, customers should see the “Product Not Available” modal.
Categorized Filters
This update will allow merchants to organize their tags into categories. You can add or remove a tag by going to Settings > Products > Tags & Filters.
- Merchants can add a Tag Category before or after adding tags within Admin v2.
- Merchants should be able to see it as a header within the tags table once Tag Category has been created.
- Merchants should also be able to;
- Edit a Tag Category
- Change the order of the Tag Category
Side Panel Filters
Currently, if a merchant implements subcategories, the category bar will automatically transition to the side panel within the menu. With this new update, the side panel always replaces the category bar.
Even if the merchant only has 1 level of categories (i.e., no subcategories), customers should see the categories and the filters in the side panel within the menu.
Configurable Subscription Frequencies
In order to provide merchants more flexibility in their subscription offerings, merchants now have the ability to select which frequency options they want to offer their customers.
Merchants should choose at least 1 frequency from;
- weekly
- Every 2 weeks
- Monthly
When merchants update/remove their fulfillment frequency options, they will be notified if they have customers utilizing it and they will be give a list of customers that are on it.
Note: Since this feature is being built at the moment, the screenshot provided is only on Admin V1 and is not configurable at the moment. You can find this by going to Admin V1 > Operations > Markets > (select market) Order Settings > Subscription Frequencies (at the bottom page)
Updated Footer
In order to provide a better user interface, we are releasing a new Footer design.
There are three primary sections within the footer;
- Logo & Social Links
- The logo displayed should be the Footer Logo
- Social links should be displayed for each social channel the merchant has input their handle into in Admin V2 > Setup > Marketing > Integrations.
- Email Sign Up
- Merchant can opt not to show this the Email Sign up in Footer.
- Footer Links
- Can support up to 18 links
- They should display in the order they are arranged within Admin.
Update Search View
In order to provide customers with smoother navigation on the website, customers will now be able to access search from any page within the website.
- If customers are outside of the menu page and search for something, they should be directed to the menu
- The search results should be consolidated within the menu page.
- If there are no results, this should display the message configured in Menu Template → No Results Message.
