Prado Release Notes 2/3/2023
Pass Text Consent to Klaviyo
In order to allow Merchants to utilize Klaviyo for marketing texts, we will pass the consent retrieved at the time of sign-up from the customer to Klaviyo.
If a customer opts into SMS marketing updates within the signup flow, their Klaviyo profile will show consent.
Customers are able to opt in and out within their profile and the consent status will be sent to Klaviyo.
- Phone number verification
- Password Reset (via phone number)
- Order Updates (in case of guest order or if the user has opted out of sms messaging)
NOTE: SMS messages cannot be sent through Klaviyo unless sms_consent has already been provided. Because of this, the following texts will need to remain within Prado:
Minimum Modifier Quantity
In order to require a number of modifiers during checkout, Merchants can now add a Minimum Modifier Quantity at the Modifiers Category level which can be set in Settings -> Product Settings -> Modifiers.
When customers place an order, they will be prompted if they don’t meet the minimum modifier quantity same goes when they exceed.
When there is no minimum set, customers should be able to checkout without any issues.

Redirect subscriptions
To avoid having a duplicate subscription, existing/logged in customers will now be redirected to their subscription menu whenever they enter the Menu page.
If customers have only one (1) subscription, it should direct them to their subscription menu while more than one (1) subscription will open to the next shoppable subscription.

Customer Preferences/Allergies
Customers are now able to create and edit their preferences. This feature should be available in the Profile section of the Account Hub.
Logged-in customers should see My Filters under Filter Preferences in the shopping experience. If logged-in customers have not set up My Filter preferences and they apply at least 1 filter and add a product to the cart, they should be asked if they want to save these filters to their preferences.
