How to add Responsible Employee Selection at POS?
At the Point of Sale (POS), you have the ability to assign a "responsible employee" to in-store orders.
Previously, this option was always visible and not required to be filled. We have now added configurations to give you more control over this feature. You can now decide whether to display and/or require the selection of a responsible employee during checkout.
Configuring Responsible Employee Selection

Navigate to Admin > Settings > Point of Sale > Responsible Employee:
- This is where you can configure the settings for assigning a responsible employee at checkout.

Configure Display of Responsible Employee Option:

Allow Selection of Responsible Employee:
- Check this option if you want the responsible employee selection to be available at checkout.
- If checked, the option will show at checkout.
- If unchecked, the option will not show at checkout.

Configure Requirement for Responsible Employee Selection:

Require Responsible Employee Selection:
- Check this option if you want to make the selection of a responsible employee mandatory.
- If checked, the employee cannot proceed with checkout without selecting a responsible employee.
- If unchecked, the employee can proceed with checkout without selecting a responsible employee.
