How to setup session recordings using Microsoft Clarity?
Microsoft Clarity is a free analytics tool that provides insights into user behavior through heatmaps, session recordings, and other powerful tracking features. Follow these steps to install it on your Prado site.
1️⃣ Create a Microsoft Clarity Account
- Go to Microsoft Clarity.
- Sign in with your Microsoft, Google, or Facebook account.
- Enter your Project Name and Website URL.
- Click Create Project.
2️⃣ Get Your Tracking Code
- After creating your project, choose Install manually.
- Click Get tracking code.
- Copy the entire code snippet to your clipboard:

3️⃣ Add the Code to Prado
- Log in to Prado Admin Classic.
- Go to Marketing > Page Template > Properties.
- Click Update Properties.
- Locate the Embedded Script Contents – Head Tag field.
- Paste your Microsoft Clarity tracking code into this field.
- Click Save.
✅ You’re Done!
Your Prado site is now connected to Microsoft Clarity. Data will start appearing in your Clarity dashboard within a few hours.
