Merchant Resellers > Resellers Pricing Policy

Merchants can now configure pricing policies for reseller markets. This feature gives merchants the flexibility to control how reseller partners are charged for products either by setting a flat rate or applying a percentage discount.

Pricing Policy Options

  1. Flat Rate Pricing
    • Merchants can set a flat cost per item for resellers.
    • The flat rate defined by the parent merchant will appear in the reseller’s Product page under Cost Price.
    • Example: A flat rate of $5.00 per meal is charged to all resellers, regardless of market pricing.
  2. Percentage Discount Pricing
    • A discount percentage can be applied to a product.
    • The system will take the highest price for the menu item across markets and apply the discount to that rate.
    • The discounted rate becomes the reseller’s meal rate per item.
    • Example: If the highest price for a dish is $12 and a 20% discount is set, the reseller cost will be $9.60 per meal.

Why Use Pricing Policies?

  • Helps food merchants standardize costs for resellers.
  • Enables tiered pricing models (flat vs. discount) depending on the reseller relationship.
  • Provides flexibility in wholesale or partner pricing strategies.

To configure this, head over to Merchant Reseller > Resellers > Resellers Pricing Policy.

Important Notes:

  • Pricing policies are reseller-specific; they do not apply globally to all resellers.
  • Resellers will only see the final Cost Price determined by the parent merchant’s policy.
