Merchant Resellers > Checkout Policy
Merchants can now set Checkout Policies for reseller markets. This feature gives merchants more control over reseller customer orders by allowing them to define minimum order requirements and order-type thresholds.
What Is a Checkout Policy?
A checkout policy determines the rules a reseller customer must meet before completing an order. By setting these policies, merchants can:
- Ensure a minimum spend requirement is met before checkout.
- Create guardrails for order processing specific to reseller markets.
- Control whether policies apply to subscription orders only or to both subscription and one-time orders.
Available Checkout Policy Options
-
Minimum Order Amount
- Set the minimum dollar amount required before a reseller customer can check out.
- Example: Require a $200 minimum order for reseller customers.
-
Order Type Thresholds

Important Note:
Checkout Policy applies to all reseller markets.
- Once a checkout policy is set, it is enforced across every reseller market under that merchant account.
- Merchants cannot set different checkout policies per individual reseller market.
