We’ve introduced Merchant Reseller Markets to give merchants more flexibility in managing how their reseller (child) markets operate. This setup allows merchants to configure separate fulfillment settings for reseller markets, independent of their Parent Fulfillment tab.

Why Use Reseller Markets?

Many merchants, especially food merchants, prefer reseller customers to have the same fulfillment options as native customers. However, reseller markets allow additional guardrails such as:

• Different order cut-off times
• Restricting order types (e.g., subscription-only orders)
• Offering tiered pricing for resellers

Key Notes on Configuration

• Zip Codes: You can assign the same zip code in both the parent and reseller market.
  • However, within each fulfillment section (parent or reseller), each zip code must be unique.
• Shipping: Currently, shipping is not supported for reseller markets.
• Independence: Any changes made in reseller markets do not override or affect the parent fulfillment settings.

To set this up, head over to Admin > Merchant Reseller > Markets
Each reseller can have its own market configuration.
