How to Require Phone Number Verification on Sign-up?


You can choose whether customers must verify their phone number when creating an account. Turning this on adds an extra layer of security, as users will receive a verification code via SMS. If turned off, customers can register without verification, but each phone number will still be unique within your organization.

To enable or disable phone number verification:

  1. Go to Admin.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Under Users & Permissions, open Account Settings.
  4. Switch the toggle for Require Phone Number Verification on Sign-up on or off.
  5. Click Save to apply the change.
