How do I connect a receipt printer to POS Version 2?

Reset existing Bluetooth connection

  1. Disconnect and forget any existing Bluetooth connection to the printer.
  2. On the iOS device, go to Settings > Bluetooth
  3. Tap the i icon next to the printer
  4. Select Forget This Device
  5. Turn on the Bluetooth printer

Connect the printer using Star Quick Setup Utility

  1. On the iOS device, download Star Quick Setup Utility from the App Store
  2. Open the app and tap Start Guide (Initial Settings)
  3. Select Search Bluetooth Printer and Connect / Pair
  4. When prompted, allow the Bluetooth connection
  5. Select the mC-Print3 printer
  6. Wait for the confirmation message Printer Successfully Connected
  7. Tap OK
  8. Select mC-Print3 as the printer model
  9. When prompted, tap Yes to print a sample receipt. The printer should print a sample receipt.

Connect the printer to POS2

  1. Open the POS2 application
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Under Printer Settings, tap Scan. The printer should automatically appear in the list
  4. Select the printer
  5. Tap Print Test Receipt. The printer should print a sample receipt.

Final test

  1. Complete a POS order
  2. At the post-checkout screen, select Print Receipt
  3. Confirm the order receipt prints successfully
