How do I connect a receipt printer to POS Version 2?
Reset existing Bluetooth connection
- Disconnect and forget any existing Bluetooth connection to the printer.
- On the iOS device, go to Settings > Bluetooth
- Tap the i icon next to the printer
- Select Forget This Device
- Turn on the Bluetooth printer
Connect the printer using Star Quick Setup Utility
- On the iOS device, download Star Quick Setup Utility from the App Store
- Open the app and tap Start Guide (Initial Settings)
- Select Search Bluetooth Printer and Connect / Pair
- When prompted, allow the Bluetooth connection
- Select the mC-Print3 printer
- Wait for the confirmation message Printer Successfully Connected
- Tap OK
- Select mC-Print3 as the printer model
- When prompted, tap Yes to print a sample receipt. The printer should print a sample receipt.
Connect the printer to POS2
- Open the POS2 application
- Go to Settings
- Under Printer Settings, tap Scan. The printer should automatically appear in the list
- Select the printer
- Tap Print Test Receipt. The printer should print a sample receipt.
Final test
- Complete a POS order
- At the post-checkout screen, select Print Receipt
