Reorder Functionality

The Reorder feature in Admin V2 allows merchants to quickly recreate a previous order from a customer’s order history. This is especially useful for repeat purchases, subscription conversions, or assisting customers who want to reorder the same items with minimal effort.

When to Use Reorder

  • Use this feature when:
  • A customer wants to purchase the same items again
  • You need to recreate an order on behalf of a customer
  • You want to convert a past order into a subscription
  • Minor adjustments (items, promos, fulfillment details) are needed before placing a new order

How to Create a Reorder

  1. Go to the Customer Profile
  2. Navigate to the Orders section
  3. Scroll down to view the list of past orders
  4. Click the “+” (Reorder) icon next to the desired order
  5. Customize the New Order
    • Once the reorder draft is created, you can make the following adjustments:
      • Update Fulfillment Details
        Modify shipping address, delivery method, or fulfillment preferences if needed.
      • Turn into a Subscription (Optional)
        Check the “Turn to Subscription” option if the order should be recurring.
      • Review Order Items
        • Add new items
        • Remove existing items
        • Adjust quantities
      • Apply Promo Code (Optional)
        Enter a valid promo code if applicable.
      • Select Payment Method
        Choose the customer’s saved payment card.
  6. Click Save to complete the reorder.

Notes & Best Practices

  • Always double-check fulfillment and payment details before saving.
  • Confirm with the customer if converting to a subscription.
  • Ensure promo codes are valid and applicable to the order.
  • Use this feature to streamline support and reduce manual order creation time.
