How do I turn off pickup and delivery for specific dates?
If your store needs to close for one or more specific dates — a holiday, a break, or pausing a recurring service day — you can turn off pickup and delivery for just those dates without changing your regular weekly schedule.
Note: Pickup and delivery are controlled in two separate places. Closing pickup does not close delivery, and closing delivery does not close pickup. To fully close a date, complete both sections below.
Turn off Pickup for specific dates
Pickup is closed using Special Hours. Setting these at the market level applies to all of your pickup locations at once, so you don't need to repeat it store by store.
- Go to Admin > Markets > Local and open your Market.
- Click the Pickup Settings tab.
- Scroll to Configure Special Hours for Pickup. (Special Hours set here apply to all stores in the market.)
- For each date you want to close, click Add Special Hour, set the Date, and enable Closed all day.
- Click Save.

Note: If pickup orders are already scheduled on a date, you'll see how many exist and can choose a Reschedule order to date to move them.
Tip: To close pickup for just one location instead of all of them, use the same Configure Special Hours for Pickup section on that store's page: Admin > Markets > Local > Locations > open the store > Details > Edit.
Turn off Delivery for specific dates
Delivery is not controlled by the pickup settings above. Scheduled delivery is closed per date from the Active Delivery Windows screen.
- From the side menu, go to Fulfill > Active Delivery Windows.
- Filter by your Market (you can also search by delivery zone or ZIP code).
- Find the row for the date you want to close and open it to bring up the Edit Delivery Window screen.
- Uncheck the Open checkbox for that date.
- If orders are already scheduled on that date, you'll be required to choose a Transfer all orders of this day to window before you can save — move them to the day you'd like.
- Click Save, and repeat for each date and each delivery zone you need to close.

Note: This closes delivery for the specific dates you select only. To change your regular weekly delivery schedule permanently, use Edit Windows under the delivery zone instead.
Don't forget your subscriptions
If you have subscription orders that normally generate on a date you've closed, review them so orders aren't created for a day you're not operating. You can either skip those orders for the closed period or move them to another service day that week.
